In 2016 I have worked on the Philips Health band as a mechanical engineer for the Personal Health Devices department at ISE Eindhoven. This involved developping all mechanical parts of this activity tracker with charging unit.

The biggest challenge in this project is making a health band, that is more like a bracelet, so the display area needed to stay as small as possible, but it also had to stay operational for a full 3 days without being charged.

In 2016 heb ik als mechanical engineer gewerkt aan de Philips Health Band voor de productcategorie Personal Health Devices bij ISE in Eindhoven.

Het betrof de ontwikkeling van alle mechanische onderdelen van deze activity tracker inclusief een oplaad unit.

De grootste uitdaging in dit project was het maken van een health band, die er meer uit zag als een armband en ter plaatse van het display zo klein mogelijk moest blijven, maar wel dat hij pas na 3 dagen pas opgeladen hoefde te worden.
